Health + Compliance + Efficiency
Myers and Stauffer provides meaningful careers where our associates know their work truly makes a difference in the lives of others. In February, we feature Christianna Moore, CPhT (manager, Baltimore), who shares her experience involving reviewing pharmacy claims for potential overpayments and the impact on communities.
“The pharmacy benefit manager audits I work on involve reviewing pharmacy claims for potential overpayments made by state clients. I believe the biggest impact these audits make on the community is finding overpayments in pharmacy costs, which is taxpayer money. In turn, that money can be used to support other things that hopefully improve the community by providing funding for more and better social and health care services. That money can go back into Medicaid, schools, or people in need.”
