Pharmacy Cost of Dispensing Survey
The West Virginia Bureau for Medical Services (BMS) contracted with firm Myers and Stauffer LC, Certified Public Accountants, to perform a survey of the cost of dispensing prescriptions to Medicaid patients. Pharmacies are required to participate in this survey.
The survey is anticipated to be mailed to all pharmacies that dispense prescription medications to West Virginia Medicaid patients on July 7, 2026 with a due date of August 18, 2026. Below are slides from the stakeholder meeting presentation from June 9, 2026 and the draft cost of dispensing survey tool. Myers and Stauffer is accepting feedback on the survey process and survey tool through June 23, 2026. Please submit all feedback to Myers and Stauffer via email at disp_survey@mslc.com.
