Program Overview

The Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) has contracted with Myers and Stauffer LC, a national public accounting and consulting firm, to establish and maintain the Montana Average Acquisition Cost (AAC) program. The Montana AAC exists as the primary pharmacy reimbursement benchmark for covered brand and generic preferred drugs within the Montana Medicaid fee-for-service pharmacy program.
