Leadership

Matt Varvaris, CPA

In addition to his work with CMS, Matt led a consulting project with the Colorado Department of Health Care Policy and Financing (HCPF) from 2022 to 2024, which involved establishing a PACE licensure and state regulation, program oversight, stakeholder engagement, and implementing a value-based purchasing initiative for the Department.

There, he oversaw month- and year-end financial reporting, annual Medicare and Medicaid cost report filings, and coordinating financial statement and cost report audits. Myers and Stauffer has a company culture that I am proud to be a part of. Ideas and innovative solutions flow freely throughout the firm in a way that makes you feel you are part of something special. I enjoy collaborating with our people from different backgrounds and disciplines, and I find it just as rewarding to be able to directly act on those collaborations to bring value to our government clients in ways that exceed their expectations.
