Diane has over 25 years of experience working with state and federal health care clients. Her expertise includes performing Medicare and Medicaid audits, desk reviews, and providing litigation support services. She has over 15 years of experience in disproportionate share hospital (DSH) audits, including assisting a state in preparing for compliance prior to the issuance of the final DSH rule.
Diane has worked on DSH audits for numerous states, including Colorado, Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Oregon, Rhode Island, Tennessee, West Virginia, and South Carolina. Currently, she serves as the DSH audit partner for several of these states.
Beyond DSH audits, Diane has extensive experience in state cost settlement engagements across various provider types, including hospitals, federally qualified health centers, residential treatment centers, rural health centers, and institutions for mental disease. She has also worked on health care engagements with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and the U.S. Department of Justice.
She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Maryland Association of Certified Public Accountants.
